HOW Dinner Supports Jessie Moore, New Guardian Of Two Children

OAKHURST – The local chapter of nonprofit organization Helping One Woman (HOW) will meet on Wednesday, Apr. 15, at Crabcakes, in support of Jessie Moore.

Jessie’s older sister passed away last April, leaving behind two children without a guardian, say organizers.

Since then, Jessie has taken on raising her niece and nephew full time, and recently was given full guardianship of the children.

Jessie and the kids just moved into an apartment in Oakhurst last month and HOW members are coming together to give them love and support.

Dinner is on Wednesday, Apr. 15, at 6 p.m. Call Crabcakes for reservations: (559) 641-7667.

Those participating in the HOW benefit dinner will place $10 or more toward a contribution for Marsha, and pay for their own dinners. Proceeds from the evening goes directly to Jessie at the end of the evening. “Absolutely nothing is kept by the organization or anyone else.”
