BASS LAKE — It’s Friday and Miller’s Landing Resort is the place to be tonight, July 22, as the locals’ favorite establishment hosts a Hot Summer Nights party. They’ll have delicious tri-tip on the BBQ, and special games for kids. Rocky Von Wagner will be rockin’ the house and it’s not unusual for a dance party to break out.
The fun starts at 6 p.m.
Meanwhile, on the water, the new Miller’s Landing tug boat has officially completed its maiden voyage with the family of ‘Name That Tug’ contest winner, Gary Griggs. Captain Bill was at the helm for the delightful sunset dinner cruise.
Miller’s Landing now offers sunset tours in the tug from 7:30 to 9 p.m., all navigated and narrated by Captain Bill, known to some as the unofficial mayor of Bass Lake. Tours run Thursday through Sunday nights. The cost is $20 per person, with a max of eight people and a minimum of five. Refreshments are provided. Reserve your spot today.
