Honoring Cristalene Hance Jones With HOW Dinner

AHWAHNEE – The local chapter of nonprofit organization Helping One Woman (HOW) will meet on Wednesday, June 17, at The Hitching Post, in support of Cristalene Hance Jones of Oakhurst.

Cristalene lost her only son Beau, 19, in a tragic motorcycle accident on April 30 in Coarsegold. Beau was a much loved member of the community.

“This is the time for the community to rally behind Cristalene and her family to show our love and support. Everyone is invited to join the event, men or women,” say organizers. “You don’t have to know the recipient, just come and be a part of a fun and meaningful event.”

Dinner is on Wednesday, June 17, at 6 p.m. Call The Hitching Post for reservations: (559) 683-7917.

Cristalene Hance Jones familyThose participating in the HOW benefit dinner will place $10 or more toward a contribution for Cristalene, and pay for their own dinners. Proceeds from the evening go directly to her at the end of the evening. “Absolutely nothing is kept by the organization or anyone else.”

Monetary donations or gifts for the prize drawing may be left at Chicago Title Company in Oakhurst.

The Hitching Post is located at 42592 Highway 49.

How says that “one woman giving $10 can buy another woman’s lunch. Ten women giving $10 can buy another woman’s groceries. One hundred women giving $10 can change another woman’s life. This is how HOW works.”
