Highway 41 Tree Work May Slow Saturday Morning Travel
Drivers traveling Highway 41 Saturday morning should allow extra time as Caltrans crews conduct tree removal work north of Road 208.
One-way traffic control is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, from 6 a.m. to noon, weather permitting. The work will take place approximately two miles north of Road 208 and the 22 Mile House.
Traffic in both directions will take turns passing through the work area under the direction of flagging personnel.
Caltrans advises motorists to follow flaggers’ instructions, watch for road maintenance vehicles and workers, and use extra caution through the work zone.
The scheduled traffic restrictions could extend beyond noon if weather or other unforeseen circumstances delay the work.
Sierra News Online reminds you to drive careful and slowdown in the cone zone!
