Highway 41 Closed Due To Overturned Logging Truck

MADERA COUNTY – Highway 41 has been closed down for the second time today south of Road 200, this time due to an overturned logging truck that has caused a hazmat issue.

Just after 9 a.m., a logging truck overturned down an embankment near Road 406.

The driver is uninjured according to CHP.

Caltrans, CHP and Sheriff’s deputies are assisting in the closure which runs from Road 200 on the north, to Road 208 at the 22 Mile House on the south.

Use the route shown on the map below to avoid the area.

There is no estimated time to reopen.
