Highway 41 Closed For Two Hours After Crash Near Rocky Cut

MADERA COUNTY – Both lanes of Highway 41 were blocked for two hours this afternoon north of the 22 Mile House due to a two-vehicle accident.

At 12:40 p.m., CHP and emergency vehicles were dispatched to reports of a crash involving a Toyota sedan and a Ford Econline van.

There are reportedly two minor injuries, and a third person who suffered major injuries.

Both lanes were blocked for two hours as the injured were transported and the scene cleared.

At 1:37 p.m., the southbound lane was open for one-lane traffic control, and at 2:41 p.m., both lanes were reopened.
