Heritage Days Parade In Pictures

OAKHURST – The 18th annual Mountain Heritage Days parade stepped off at 10 a.m. last Saturday, making its way down School Road to Road 426 past the cheering crowds who lined the route.

Vintage cars, marching bands, dance troops, floats and equestrians were all part of this year’s festivities.

The parade was followed by a day packed with fun and history at Fresno Flats Historic Village & Park, along with the presentation of awards to parade winners.

Visitors to the park perused the wares of vendors, sampled the offerings at the food booths, put their bids in at the silent auction and toured historic buildings.

There was also a performance by the Golden Chain Theatre Co. and live entertainment, plus a BBQ steak and salmon dinner.

Please enjoy this collection of photos from the parade. Results posted at the bottom.YHS Cadet Corp - photo by Gina Clugston
