Here's Your Chance To "B" In The Movies

OAKHURST – Jeffrey S. Murray Productions – HARMUR Entertainment is holding a casting call on Saturday, Apr. 27, at the Golden Chain Theatre in Oakhurst.

The company is now in pre-production on a new feature film, and is seeking male and female actors for featured roles, plus positions for female models and dancers.There are also supporting parts and lots of openings for extra background players.

Their new picture will be shot in mid-summer with locations in Oakhurst and Fresno.

Sorority Girls Roadhouse Rumble,” is a sexy comedy with some brief nudity and lots of gags and zany happenings,” says their website. “Like our just released and successful feature, ‘Bigfoot’s Wild Weekend,’ this will be another low budget ‘B’ movie directed toward the 18 to 35 year old male audience.”

This is a non-union, low budget independent motion picture project. Many positions available are unpaid, intern and volunteer. Anyone who would like to assist without pay is welcome. This includes crew member positions as well as cast.

Volunteers will receive transportation assistance, meals on set and screen credit. All positions, paid and unpaid will be under legal written contract. Everyone will be required to read, understand and sign a contract. You must be 18 years of age or older to take part in this production. Some major roles and crew positions will be offered as paid with some deferral compensation, etc. All positions will be negotiated on an individual basis.

The casting call is Saturday, Apr. 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Golden Chain Theatre in Oakhurst, Ca. Located about one mile north of town on Highway 41.

“I look forward to seeing and meeting you at the Casting Call,” says Jeff Murray. “Sides (lines from the script) will be made available to you when you arrive for the role(s) for which you are interested in auditioning. You will have time to study the lines before you are called to read. We conduct a very mellow and laid-back session without stress and pressure……See you there!”
