MADERA COUNTY – Sheriff John Anderson is hoping someone can identify two men who broke into the La Vina Market, located on Avenue 9, shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 6.
Video surveillance shows a dark colored truck pull up in front of the market. One of two passengers exits the truck and is seen trying to pry open the front door of the market. After several failed attempts, he smashes the window.Both he and the second suspect, a passenger in the vehicle, are then seen entering the store.
Video surveillance located inside the store captures the pair making off with an ATM machine.
Anyone with information is urged to call either the Madera County Sheriff’s Office at 559-675-7770, or CRIME STOPPERS at 559-478-STOP. An anonymous tip to CRIME STOPPERS that results in their apprehension could be worth up to a thousand dollars.
