Help Grace Community Church UCC Feed North Fork this Christmas

NORTH FORK — Each year, Grace Community Church makes Christmas food baskets available for the residents of North Fork. This year will be a little different due to COVID-19 restrictions and financial constraints.

There will be no advance signups as in the past, and the pickup will be a drive-through on the church campus. As costs increase for this program, they are inviting the North Fork community to participate financially in this program.

This year, they will provide the items for a Christmas dinner to the first 175 families who arrive on Wednesday, Dec. 23, between 10 a.m. and noon.

If you would like to participate financially, please send a donation to Grace Community Church, P.O. Box 193, North Fork, CA 93643 with “Christmas Baskets” on the memo line, or contact Sandy at 559-760-4950.

Any amount donated will be welcome. As examples, the cost of the items for a dinner for 2 is about $16; for a dinner for 4 is $18; and for a family of 8 is $33. In the past, they have provided dinner items for families in size from one to 14 people.

This program is one of many provided by Grace Community Church to help ease some of the challenges of providing nutritious food to those in need in the North Fork community. GCC sincerely hopes you will help them with this endeavor.

And, they invite you to (virtually) join them online at www.gccuccnf.org each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for their worship service.

All are welcome at the little white church on the curve coming into town—but for now, online.
