Hazardous Weather Conditions For Foothills

MOUNTAIN AREA — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Mariposa, Madera, Fresno and Tulare County Foothills from 11 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 2 through 10 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 3 above 3,000 feet.

Snow is expected with total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, and localized amounts up to 6 inches around 4,000 feet, are expected.

Plan on slippery road conditions, and be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
