Halloween in Raymond

RAYMOND – Halloween fun and festivities come to Raymond this weekend, starting on Friday with the 4th annual Trunk or Treat which will take place between the Post Office and the General Store along Road 600.

There will be refreshments, carnival games, a bounce house, a costume contest and a best decorated car/trunk contest. The Trunk or Treating starts at 5 p.m. and continues until 9 p.m.

Cars are still needed for Trunk or Treating, but if you can’t bring a car, candy to hand out to the kids would be greatly appreciated.

Then on Saturday, Nov. 1, it’s the 10th annual Spaghetti Benefit Dinner and Halloween Dance. Dinner will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance, $13 at the door. All proceeds go to support the Raymond Volunteer Fire Department. There will also be a bake sale that will benefit the Raymond-Knowles 8th grade class.
