Grace Community Needs Your Treasures

NORTH FORK – The Grace Community Thrift Shop, affectionately known as North Fork’s Macy’s, is asking for your used items that you no longer need or want.

The Thrift Shop is low on donations this year, and asks you to bring your treasures on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 10 and 3 p.m. It’s a great way to clean out your house for the holidays, and make those gently used items available for others.

More than 80% of the money earned at the Thrift Shop is designated for various needs in North Fork and surrounding communities, contributing to school trips, the North Fork Library, and anyone in need, including over 30 charities.

The Thrift Shop is located behind Grace Community Church at 56446 Rd 200, in North Fork.

  1. There are better places to donate your things. The people who work there get first pick on everything and don’t pay enough for it. It’s become a free for all.

Go ahead and ask them if this is their policy-to let people who work there have first choice.
