NORTH FORK — As we approach the season of giving, Grace Community Church once again will provide Christmas dinner baskets for the first 175 North Fork families to sign up.
The amount has greatly increased for this program and we are asking the North Fork community to participate financially this year.
A breakdown cost of the items for a family dinner for two is about $16; for a dinner for four it is $18; and for a family of eight is $33. In the past, we have provided dinner items for families in size from one to fourteen people.
This program is just one of many provided by Grace Community Church to help ease some of the challenges of providing nutritious food to those in need in the North Fork
community.
We sincerely hope you will help us with this endeavor. And, we invite you to join us each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for our worship service. All are welcome at the little white church on the curve coming into town.
Families and individuals in need of help may sign up in the at the Thrift Store on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Nov. 27 through Dec. 13 (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and at Grace Community Church, and on Sundays from Nov. 25 through Dec. 9 (9:30 – 10 a.m. and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.).
