Golden Chain Presents Three-Night Special Event Dinner Show

OAKHURST — Tickets are going fast for the Golden Chain Theatre’s Feb. 14 –16, one weekend only performance of the interactive, comedy dinner-show Contempt of Court by David Landau.

This play is a “typical night at Judge Judy’s Peoples Night Court, where audience members become plaintiffs, defendants, witnesses and jury in some of the most outlandishly funny lawsuits ever to double-cross the bench.”

Making her GCT directorial debut, Jamie Letwinch, says, “This is going to be a roller coaster of cases with fly-by-the-seat-of-their-pants lawyers, crazy witnesses and a tough judge who takes no BS. Guests can prepare for a wild night of court.”

Show attendees will have the opportunity to vote “GUILTY/NOT GUILTY” on juror ballot sheets to determine the outcome of each case, with one lucky patron winning a bottle of wine.

And no need to order in this court — GCT has it covered for you. Guests will be served a three-course meal by Any Occasion Events, featuring smoked tri-tip, fingerling potatoes, and seasonal vegetables, as well as salad and dessert. (*Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available by reservation with the box office.)

Cocktail hour will be at 6 p.m., with the show starting at 7 p.m. (Please note, this is a no-host bar.)

Tickets are $47.50 per person and may be purchased online at www.goldenchaintheatre.org or by calling the box office at (559) 683-7112.
