OAKHURST — If you’re one who likes and is able to give the gift of life, stop by Sierra Telephone’s Blood Drive on Monday, July 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
It’s sponsored by the Central California Blood Center for patients in Valley hospitals. Everyone is welcome: you do not need to be employed with Sierra Tel to participate.
Sierra Tel is located at 49150 Road 426 in Oakhurst.
Organizers ask that donors eat a good meal and drink lots of water within four hours before giving blood. A photo ID and social security number are required.
Donors must be in good general health, weigh a minimum of 110-pounds and be at least 17 years old. Senior citizens are encouraged to donate as there is no upper-age limit. Donors can give blood every eight weeks.
