OAKHURST – Mountain Home School Charter (MHSC) students in 3rd through 8th grade have been very busy preparing for their school musical, “Fun with Numbers,” to be presented for one special showing only, on Thursday, Apr. 10, at the Yosemite High School Theater.
The program begins at 5:30 p.m. and admission is absolutely free.
“Fun with Numbers,” the musical, was written by MHSC teacher Brook Bullock, using songs from Disney movies and other popular shows.
According to Bullock, students are well suited to play the role of “students,” as they “discover the importance of math in everyday life, and in the real world.”
The vision of MHSC is to create a rigorous, dynamic and accountable learning community that is build upon voluntary association, personalized student learning, and high academic standards for all students, along with parent leadership.
The school’s vision is to accomplish complementary goals by providing all students and parents with personal, experienced teacher guidance and support, along with powerful and proven instruction, ongoing and multiple modality assessments, and a large inventory of high quality, standards-aligned instructional resources.
