The new state funds are earmarked for new museum exhibits focusing on the history of the local Indigenous population, the early Chinese community, local forest management, and fire ecology.

Friday Night Lectures are Back at Fresno Flats!

Tony Krizan presents “Sierra High Mountain Passes.”

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. on July 8. Show starts at 6:30. 

Also, they’re recording oral histories between 5:30 – 6:15 p.m. from those that have some good old stories about growing up in the area or just have an interesting personal history.

Some important questions that need answering: 
  • Did you attend the Cunningham School House?
  • Did you work at the sawmill that was located at Vons?
  • Did you know Walt Disney?
  • Did you work for Carroll Shelby?

They want to hear from you with a quick sit down.
