Free Workshop For New Animal Disaster Team Members, Join Now

OAKHURST — Are you interested in helping to save animals during the wildland fire season? Join the Central California Animal Disaster Team (CCADT) at this free workshop to learn how you can become a team member.

The “Introduction to the CCADT Volunteer Orientation Workshop” will be held on Wednesday, Mar. 7, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the California Highway Patrol Oakhurst Area office, 40500 Redbud Drive.

Instructors will be Naomi E. Flam, Founder & CEO of CCADT, and Mary Schnee, President.

  • Training Requirements
  • Policies & Procedures
  • Community Partnerships
  • Deployment Preparation
  • Educating On Disaster Preparedness

The deadline to register is Feb. 28, and enrollment is limited to 25 attendees.
