Free Summer Lunch Program At North Fork Rec Center

NORTH FORK – Once again the North Fork Rancheria of Mono Indians is providing free lunch for the children of North Fork, in conjunction with the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program.

Lunch will be served Monday through Friday, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Rec Center, 33507 Road 230, from June 19 through Aug. 4.

This is a great chance for local kids to meet some new friends over a fun lunch, and enjoy an afternoon in the swimming hole on Willow Creek during the hot summer months.

All children 18 years old and younger are invited to participate. This program will not be serving children under age 1 year (infants 0 to 12 months). Also, smaller portions will not be available for children age 1 to 3 years, or 3 to 6 years old. Special dietary needs must be known in advance.

There is no cost for the lunch and no registration, kids just need to check in, and all meals must be eaten on site by the children.
