The North Fork Transfer Station accepts separated recyclables (no trash) for NO CHARGE.

Recyclables accepted include:

-Separated recyclables including copy paper, colored paper, cardboard, junk mail, phone books, and magazines, anything that tears, as long as it is not food contaminated or is waxed coated.

Aluminum cans, tin and steel cans, plastics bottles and other plastics; scrap metal, and milk cartons.

-Electronic waste including: televisions, computers, VCR’s, cell phones, computer accessories, and other electronic waste.

-Tires are accepted for a charge.

Hours: Thursday through Monday, from 9am to 5pm, closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays and major holidays.

Fairmead Landfill and Mammoth Materials Recovery Facility accepts separated recyclables (no trash) for NO CHARGE.

-Aluminum cans, tin & steel cans, glass bottles, plastics bottles & other plastics; scrap metal, & milk cartons.

-Electronic waste including: televisions, computers, VCR’s, cell phones, computer accessories, and other electronic waste.

-Appliances also accepted at No Charge, Freon units do have a charge.

Location: 21739 Road 19 (Hwy 99 exit Avenue 20 west to Road 19, Right on 19); facility is open on Monday-Saturday.
