Free Elf On The Shelf Party At Branches

OAKHURST — Bring the believers to Branches Books & Gifts on Monday, Dec. 11 at 3 p.m. in celebration of their free-to-attend Elf on the Shelf Holiday Party.

The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition is a 2005 children’s picture book, written by Carol Aebersold and her daughter Chanda Bell, and illustrated by Coë Steinwart.

The Branches Books Elf on the Shelf will come to life and delight families with an Elf story time, Funky Elf Dance and Sing-Along, and important lessons on Elf Etiquette. Kids will also have a chance to hop into a holiday photo booth and take some fun photos, and create a make-and-take Elf Craft.

This is a free event to attend. The photo booth will be manned — or Elfed — by friends from A Moment in Time Photography. Each photo booth session will cost $5 for a 4×6 photo grid with four images. A portion of the proceeds of each photo sold will go toward CASA of Fresno and Madera Counties.

“We look forward to spending the afternoon with you and spreading some holiday fun and cheer,” says Branches’ owner Anne Driscoll. “This is a perfect holiday event for kids of all ages!”

Cookies and refreshments will be served.

Branches Books & Gifts is located in the Old Mill Shopping Center at 40044 Highway 49, Suite B-1, in Oakhurst. Please call (559) 641-2019 for more information.
