Free Chipping For Fish Camp Residents

FISH CAMP – The Mariposa County Fire Safe Council is ready to help you become fire safe by providing free chipping of tree limbs, manzanita, deer brush and other large hazardous debris on Thursday, Oct. 30.

If you pile your large hazardous debris along a route of ingress/ingress as described below, the Fire Safe Council will chip your piled hazardous debris for free.

To prepare your materials for chipping, please follow these instructions:

  • Mariposa Fire Safe CouncilAll cut parts of the limbs must be faced out (see picture) All piles must be within 5 feet of a roadway
  • Do not pile along a County Maintained Road
  • Piles must be no higher than 4 feet and free of any trash or metal
  • If piles are not piled correctly, the Fire Safe Council cannot chip your piles
