Frank Bigelow Named Assistant Republican Leader

SACRAMENTO — Assemblyman Frank Bigelow (R-O’Neals) was named Assistant Republican Leader by Assembly Republican Leader Chad Mayes.

“I’m honored to be named an Assistant Republican Leader for the 2017-2018 legislative session,” says the lifelong local rancher.

“The Leadership Team shows the diversity of California and highlights our members’ real-world experience. We look forward to tackling tough issues and working to build a better California.”

The designation was met with appreciation by Mayes.

“There are few leaders in California who command as much respect from Republicans and Democrats as Frank Bigelow does. I’m thankful to have his counsel and look forward to getting things done this year.”

Bigelow says that representing the people of California’s 5th district is a true honor, and he’s thankful for the trust his constituents have placed in him to take on the job.

“I look forward to working with my colleagues in the Assembly and Senate to ensure that rural California’s voice is heard in the State Legislature. I’m focused on restoring the California dream. We’re going to create new jobs and reignite California’s economy. My sleeves are rolled up and I’m ready to work.”

Frank Bigelow proudly represents the 5th Assembly District, which encompasses Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Madera, Mariposa, Mono, Placer, and Tuolumne counties and includes Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park.
