Fish Camp Fire Dept. Potluck And CPR Class

FISH CAMP — Come visit with your neighbors and support your local fire department on Sunday, May 29, at 4:30 p.m. as the Fish Camp Volunteer Fire Association sponsors a potluck dinner and get-together at the new Firehouse.

This will be a great opportunity for residents to get updates on how they can help with fire preparedness activities in their community.

There will also be entertainment by Jim Hale and two of his Spuddle Brothers playing roots music.

Iced tea, lemonade and table service will be provided (alcoholic drinks are not allowed at the firehouse). Attendees are asked to bring a main dish, side dish, veggies, salad or dessert to share, and a serving utensil.

While those planning to attend don’t need to RSVP, organizers encourage everyone to do so, to help them estimate how many people will be there and what kind of dish they will be bringing.

As an added bonus, Chief Curtis Jackson will be teaching a half-hour CPR class for Fish Camp residents, one at 9:30 a.m. and another at 1 p.m. The class is not for certification, but dummies will be provided so everyone can get real hands-on experience.

For more information or to RSVP for the potluck or CPR class, please contact Jacquie Hale, Secretary, (559) 683-5699.

The fire station is located at 7742 Forest Drive in Fish Camp.
