Fireworks Back At The Lake For New Year’s Eve

Pines FireworksBASS LAKE — From magic shows to top-notch cuisine to a party in the wild west followed by fireworks, Bass Lake has you covered on New Year’s Eve.

In just a little over a week the sky will be illuminated by a spectacular fireworks show thanks to generous donations made by the owners of the Pines Resort, Bass Lake Chamber of Commerce and Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau.

“For many years, hundreds of residents have traveled to the lake on December 31 before midnight to enjoy the free show and to take part in this special celebration,” says Mark Choe, Business Development manager at the Pines Resort. “We were working really hard to bring the fireworks back.”

The owners of the Pines Resort and Ducey’s on the Lake have ensured that families can get together and safely ring in the New Year of 2016 at the lake, with a day and evening of activities that kicks off on Thursday, Dec. 31 at 1 p.m. with a free family friendly magic show by Kenny B, during lunch at Ducey’s Bar & Grill.

Pines Dec 31 magic show“Our New Year’s Eve Magic Shows became really popular and we are seeing a great response from our local families,” says Tony Diaz, Ducey’s Manager. “We want to make sure we can accommodate more people this year, so we scheduled two magic shows on New Year’s Eve.”

Also beginning at 4 p.m., Executive Chef Johnathan Frabotta will present a mouth-watering, four-course New Year’s Eve dinner at Ducey’s on the Lake, to 10 p.m., with a price per person of $65 plus tax and gratuity, including free entrance to the evening’s later festivities.

An equally delicious limited three-course Sunset Menu will be available from 4 – 6 p.m. for the cost of $25 per person, plus tax and gratuity (entrance to later events not included).
