MARIPOSA COUNTY — The UC Master Food Preservers of Mariposa County will be offering a hands-on workshop, “Fermenting and Pickling: Cultural Recipes from around the World” on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McCay Hall in Catheys Valley.

This hands-on workshop will provide short presentations and demonstrations as well as the opportunity to practice making sauerkraut, Korean pickles, and pickled eggs.
Participants will go home with a jar of each product they made in class.
There will also be a live demonstration on making Kombucha.
Due to the hands-on nature of this workshop, registration is required and walk-ins will not be accepted.
