AHWAHNEE – On Friday, Sept. 25, women from all over the community will swing clubs in a 9-hole tournament at Sierra Meadows to raise money for the Boys & Girls Club in Oakhurst. Organizers look forward to an exciting day as women in teams of four compete for fun and charity.
“It’s a great opportunity for women in business to get together, do something great for the community and have fun while doing it,” says event coordinator Stephenie Jewett of Moxie Salon.
The day begins with registration at 9 a.m. and a shotgun start at 10 a.m.. Entry fees are $70 per player with continental breakfast and full lunch included.
Watch for prize holes including Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Straightest Drive, and a Vegas Hole.
