Extreme Registration: Creating Opportunities, One Student at a Time

CLOVIS — Is it your New Year’s Resolution to go back to college or start college? Attend Extreme Registration and tuition may be FREE!

Take general education class for transfer, short-term training programs, or earn an Associate Degree.

There is still time to register for the spring semester, which starts Monday, Jan. 13.

Extreme Registration will be held at Clovis Community College, 10309 North Willow Avenue, Fresno, CA 93730.

The dates are: Friday, Jan. 3, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in AC2-276, and Saturday, Jan. 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in AC2-276.

Clovis Community College is a college of State Center Community College District (SCCCD), which also includes Fresno City College, Reedley College, Madera Community College Center, Oakhurst Community College Center, and the Career and Technology Center.

There are a variety of day, evening, and online classes available, from general education courses to short-term training programs. New programs include “Cybersecurity” and “Mechatronics Industrial Automation” programs.

For faster service, if you have not attended classes at State Center Community College District in the last two semesters or have never attended, please complete the online application prior to attending the event for faster service.

All interested students are encouraged to attend Extreme Registration as tuition may be free, regardless of income.

Enrollment fees may be waived if students meet these requirements:
1. First time college student.
2. Enroll in a minimum of 12 units each semester at Clovis Community College and/or any of the colleges/centers in State Center Community College District.
3. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at FAFSA.gov or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) at dream.csac.ca.gov.

Clovis Community College recently earned an award from the Campaign for College Opportunity for being a Champion for Higher Education” for exemplary work in awarding associate degrees for transfer for two years in a row in 2018 and 2019.

Also, out of all 115 California Community Colleges, Clovis Community College ranked:
#1 for the number of transfer students to UCs and CSUs (per 1,000 students)
#1 in Associate Degrees for Transfer earned (compared to similarly sized community colleges)
#1 in Associate Degrees earned with the fewest units accumulated by students
