The Yosemite area Audubon Association presents Birding Trip to White Rock Road

April 12 from 7 am – 3 pm

Meet at MARIPOSA COUNTY Fairgrounds at 7 am to car pool along White Rock Road to view migratory and resident birds in the area. Some of the interesting species we may see include the golden and bald eagles, kestrels, pigmy owls, lewis’s woodpeckers, orange crowned and yellow rumped warblers, phainopeplas, nuthatches, lesser and Lawerence’s goldfinches, kingbirds, meadowlarks, horned larks, Bullock’s orioles, black headed grosbeaks, wrens, lark and chipping sparrows, several species of waterfowl, red tail hawks, and lazuli buntings if we are lucky.

Bring your own binoculars, spotting scopes if you own one, water snacks/lunch, walking shoes, and friends.
