Have you ever wondered who a woodcarver might be? Are you looking for a new hobby? Could you be looking for a few good laughs? If your interest has been piqued join the Woodcarvers Rendezvous April 15, 2018 – April 21, 2018 for the 11th Annual Woodcarvers Rendezvous.

What is this fun event? A whole week dedicated to an art that can be done multiple ways. A week where fellow woodcarvers can share their specialty and teach others how to do the craft. All are invited to partake in the classes, demonstrations, and seminars. Even if you have never carved a twig you can sign up for beginner classes.

Registration fee for the Oakhurst Woodcarvers Rendezvous is $115.00 for a single person, $170.00 per couple (same household), for the entire week.  You will need to bring your own carving knives, tools and equipment.  The price also includes coffee each morning, Kiwanis breakfast to kick off the event, a couple of dinners during the week, and a potluck dinner Friday night.

The Woodcarvers Rendezvous is open to the public all week. Please drop in to see what they are working on.

Family friendly event and classes are open the all ages that feel they can handle a knife and learn a craft. Saturday April 21, 2018 there is a FREE craft fair. Woodcarvers will be displaying their work and getting you excited for next year’s event.

This event is proudly supported by the Oakhurst Chamber of Commerce, Yosemite Visitor Bureau, and the California Carvers Guild.
