The Sierra Shadow Casters MC will be hosting a recruitment breakfast on Feb 8 at the Hitching Post in Ahwahnee at 10 a.m.

SSC is is looking for a few dedicated riders to join our organization. Our club has been around since 2003 and is a recognized 501.c(4) nonprofit. Are you a no drama, respectful and club-oriented type of rider? One who wants to help give back to your community? A rider who looks forward to riding with other like-minded individuals? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then you would be a welcomed candidate. We are adding new members all of the time. If you are interested in Riding for Others, or just want to help us in our fundraising efforts, please contact us at 559-760-8828. And be sure to follow us on Facebook. You are welcome to ride with us on any of our rides including our popular Breakfast Rides held on the first Saturday of each month. As a Facebook follower you will receive the ride notices.

The Sierra Shadow Casters is an all-bike club, meaning we don’t care what you ride as long as it has 3 wheels or less and it has a motor. We have several Lady riders and members of all ages. The average age is around 50 but we do have several members in their 40s as well as their 30’s.

We are a Non-Profit Charitable Civic Organization, we have held many very successful fundraising Poker Runs starting with a 2015 benefit for the badly injured Fresno Fire Captain Pete Dern, then The Children’s Museum of the Sierra in Oakhurst. 2016 Moonshine Run raised funds for the Coarsegold volunteer fire Dept.’s, and the 2017 Memorial Run proceeds were used in support of victims of Mariposa fires. In 2018 the Moonshine Run was dedicated to the Caring Veterans of America. We are very proud of our long-standing efforts to help Foothill charitable organizations and we plan to stay on a roll.

Being an SSC member is certainly not all work and no fun! We have a great time on our regular Club rides, at Club BBQ’s, Club Parties, and just enjoy hanging out, we always have a great time. We typically do multiple day trips a couple times a year. SSC Members are here for each other and willing help one another in times of personal need– in reality, we are a growing family! Membership details can be found here.  If you’re interested in joining prior to the recruitment meeting, contact me via email at steve@sierrashadowcasters.com or andy@sierrashadowcasters.com.

Come out and meet us on Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. at the Hitching Post. We look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you may have.
