SPEAKER ALISON DEAK
is the UC Fire Advisor for Mariposa, Madera, and Fresno Counties. She focuses on improving wildfire resilience and community preparedness and promotes safe and effective prescribed burning practices, largely with the Yosemite Gateway Prescribed Burn Cooperative. Alison provides education, technical support, and guidance to help reduce wildfire risk and restore landscapes through beneficial fire.
