“Path to Wellness” resource fair gets you back on your feet with activities for healthy living
It’s no secret that access to health and wellness services in Mariposa can be challenging, even under the best of circumstances. Knowing this, the Mariposa County Health and Wellness Coalition is working on providing a one-stop shopping event, ” Path to Wellness” resource fair, on Saturday, April 14th. The event will highlight the diverse wellness related services and activities available in the county, and is a great opportunity to learn about these resources and ask questions or receive further information. You may even learn about services you’ve never considered before.
Running with a broad definition of wellness, the event seeks to exercise the awareness of wellness-related activities in the county that stretch beyond the typical definitions. Mosey on down to the Mariposa Courthouse lawn and experience informational booths, demonstrations and activities from local health-related organizations. Healthy snacks, water, health-related give-a-ways, and other resources will also be available.
The First Annual “Path to Wellness” resource fair will take place Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on the Mariposa County Courthouse Lawn and will feature many organizations from throughout the county. There will be raffle prizes for attendees and other fun activities throughout the day. This event is sponsored by the John C. Fremont Hospital Foundation.
