The hills are alive! This is expected to be a spectacular year in the foothills and Fine Gold Creek Nature Preserve will have amazing wildflowers to see.
Come join Sierra Foothill Conservancy (SFC) for Open Preserve Day which is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be SFC docents and staff available to provide trail maps and wildflower guides. Come hike the over 3 miles of trails, have a picnic by Fine Gold Creek and just enjoy the beauty of it all.
There is no cost to enjoy the Preserve during this special day, dedicated to Austin and Mary Ewell – the Ewell family continues to support SFC in its important conservation work and is sponsoring today’s Open Preserve Day.
