As part of our Earth Energy Awareness class cycle, we present Sacred Places & Vortexes of the Sierra.
Some places are magical. Magic needs no explanation. But is there a science behind Earth magic? Learn more about the forgotten discipline of Geomancy and how every place has a unique energy signature. Learn to identify and characterize vortexes – for example, how they correspond to the chakras, acupuncture meridians, and organs of the human body.
Dan Shaw studied Alchemy, Geomancy, and earned a B.S. in Geography in 2001. Dan travels extensively in the US and abroad, researching sacred sites. His TV and film appearances include Brad Meltzer’s Decoded: Devil’s Triangle, Alaska on the History Channel and the documentary Ancient Tomorrow. Dan has also consulted for the History Channel’s Ancient Aliens, NBC’s The Blacklist and Travel Channel’s Mysteries of the National Parks: Yosemite.
