The next meeting of the Oakhurst Democratic Club will be Sat., Sept. 7, at the Oakhurst Grill, 40530 Highway 41. A buffet breakfast is available for $8.00 starting at 8:30 a.m., followed by the program at 9:15. This month’s speaker will be Darin Soukup, Director of the Oakhurst Community College Center, who will update the club on the new, permanent college site. The club will also vote to decide which Democratic candidate for US Congress should be endorsed by the party. As always, the public is invited.
