Kevin Hall will present “The Politics of Climate Change” at the next meeting of the Oakhurst Democratic Club on Saturday, April 6, at the Oakhurst Grill, 40530 Highway 41.
Kevin hosts Climate Politics on KFCF 88.1 FM, Fresno, on the second and fourth Fridays of every month and writes monthly for Community Alliance Magazine.
This talk explores the politics of climate change from local water districts to the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, with an emphasis on California’s cap-and-trade program and the officials of the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District.
People interested in developing their own climate change campaigns or joining existing ones are strongly encouraged to attend.
