Oakhurst Lutheran will be holding its 6th Annual Flag Day celebration on June 14. The celebration begins with a fundraising dinner for Semper Fi at 5 p.m. The dinner will include a pulled pork sandwich, chips, beverages, and dessert. Cost is $15. All profits will go to the Marine Corps League Semper Fi Fund.
The dinner will be followed by a Flag Day program that will feature a guest speaker, lots and lots of patriotic songs, Pledge of Allegiance and a flag retirement/burning ceremony. The Flag Day program will take place in the Memorial Garden next to the Veterans Memorial.
