Oakhurst Lutheran will be holding its Annual Flag Day Celebration on FLAG DAY, Sunday, June 14.
The celebration begins with a fund raising dinner for Veterans at 6:00PM. The dinner will be a pulled pork sandwich, chips and iced water for a $12.50 suggested donation. All profits from the dinner will go to a Veterans’ group.
The dinner will be followed by a Flag Day program that will feature Bill Brotsis, a Vietnam veteran who served in the 1st Calvary Airborne.
The program will feature patriotic music, the Pledge of Allegiance and a flag retirement ceremony. The Flag Day program will take place in the Memorial Garden next to the Veterans’ Memorial. Please invite your friends, family and neighbors.
