Here is a little more about Alberto Lombardi..
Italian virtuoso guitarist Alberto Lombardi is an internationally renowned acoustic solo fingerstyle and electric rock player, a singer songwriter and record producer.
As a solo acoustic player he toured with Tommy Emmanuel in 2022, and also with some of the most influential acoustic guitarists of our times, like Peter Finger, Muriel Anderson and Tim Sparks to name a few.

As a singer songwriter he released his third rock album “Home” mixed by Bruce Springsteen and Rolling Stones legendary sound engineer Bob Clearmountain. The album also features the original lead singers of the band Chic, Norma Jean Wright and Luci Martin, with whom alberto toured many times.

His captivating solo acoustic performances are comprised of both original compositions and elaborate arrangements of great classics from the Italian and international tradition.
His guitar style is very personal, derived from the diverse musical experiences Alberto has in rock, pop and jazz as a session player and record producer
Incorporating fingerpicking, flatpicking, some looping, improvisation and singing, Alberto can transform a single guitar into an orchestra, sing and solo on top of it with an electric guitar sound.. on the acoustic! Repertoire is ranging from Italian classics like Volare and Roma nun Fa la stupida stasera to The Beatles and Sting, from Stevie Wonder and Motown music to jazz classics like All of me and Cantaloupe Island. His own compositions for solo guitar and full blown rock songs complete the picture of a unique live experience.
Alberto’s voice has been often compared to Sting’s for sound and agility, and his songs have been praised by the likes of Nile Rodgers (Guitarist and producer for Madonna, Duran Duran and Bowie to name a few) who said after listening to the album “Home”: “the record is killing, such great musicianship!”
In January 2020 Lombardi played his first solo USA tour, after acquiring the prestigious O-1 visa, granted by the US government to people with extraordinary ability.
