The 34th annual CoyoteFest “fun”draiser benefiting the Northern Mariposa County History Center will be taking over the whole town of Coulterville, California on September 27 and 28 2019.
The fun begins on Fri Sept 27 at 5 p.m. when the weekend kicks off on the patio of the Coulter Cafe with an evening under the stars where you will enjoy mouth watering food, craft beer, local wines and of course Kim’s world famous “Coyote Spritzer” all accompanied by local favorites FAUX RENWAH performing old fashioned bluegrass.
Sat, Sept 28 at 10 a.m. on Main Street the local IOOF Lodge104 presents a truly spectacular down home parade featuring the finest, funniest, most colorful, patriotic, proud, fun loving individuals, businesses and organizations that come from all over the Foothills to strut their stuff. Main Street is also the backdrop for the beloved Classic Car Show featuring as far as the eye can see the most beautiful cars being shown off deservingly so by their proud owners who are all vying for the best of show trophy.
After the parade, the Coulterville park will transform into a bustling marketplace where you will find the park alive with the music of Fresno music icons The Roger Perry Band and full of talented crafters and artisans all selling their one of kind wares. If you’re hungry, no worries, there will be plenty of food vendors all serving ridiculously delicious food to fill your empty stomachs. As well, a wine and beer booth with local and craft brews. Also taking place in the park is the “must-see-to-believe” howling contest where you will witness to your amazement howlers from the young pups to the most senior all with the high hopes of not only winning the prize money $$$ but the most coveted bragging rights that come along with the title of “Winner”.
The CoyoteFest ends up where it all started, on the patio of the Coulter Cafe After Party at 3:30 p.m. with music The Dave Henderson Group performing upbeat and danceable blend of country, jazz, rock and pop covers.
Craft beers, local wines, scrumptious food, music and dancing that will keep you howling well into the night!
