The CHP’s Start Smart class, beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 23, is for teenagers just learning to drive, or any teen that wants to better their driving ability. Parents are encouraged to attend this class with their children. No actual driving is required for this class, making it the perfect fit for teens that have not yet started the licensing process.
Certificates will be mailed to the attendees upon completion of the class, and often are used to get vehicle insurance rates lowered. We will continue to provide these classes to the public at NO COST! We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to improve your driving skills and Start Smart.
