“ARTober in Oakhurst,” (October) a month dedicated to celebrating arts and culture throughout Oakhurst. ARTober events include artists, musicians, theater, writers, foodies, and more. Oakhurst is a vibrant city of arts and among the largest artist communities, per capita, in California.
31 days of ARTober – FIND Art the Bear – Hidden all over Oakhurst are little chainsaw carved bears made by Nate’s Kustom Carving. Go to www.facebook.com/ArtoberInOakhurst for clues to find and keep your own bear. Bears will be hidden periodically during the month.
October 28th thru 30th: Pines Village Arts & Craft Fair: Enjoy an array of arts and craft vendors in the Pines Village at beautiful Bass Lake
Taking place the first two weekends of the month, September 30 – October 2nd and the 7th thru 9th – 10 am to 6 pm is Sierra Art Trails Open Studio Tour throughout Madera County. Visit over 70 artists at their studios or galleries throughout the region. https://sierraarttrails.org/
October 7-9th – Oakhurst Fall Festival will bring it’s Small Town Fair fun back to the Oakhurst Community Park. Live music each day, carnival games & rides, wine & beer tasting Saturday from noon to 5 pm, Jedi show Friday at 7 pm and Aerialist Demonstration on Saturday at 7 pm. Festival times are: Friday 3 pm to 9 pm; Saturday 10 am to 9 pm; Sunday 10 am to 4 pm. https://oakhurstchamber.com/fall-festival/
