The Mountain Area Runners would like to invite all runners and walkers to join in the celebration of the
36th Smokey Bear Run / Walk

Road 222 closes to all vehicles at 7:00 AM and reopens at 11:00 AM
This year’s proceeds will benefit CAL FIRE, the United States Forest Service (USFS) Fire Prevention Programs and the Madera County Sheriff Volunteer Programs
Registration forms can be completed online here or you may register the day of the race between 6:45 AM and 7:35 AM.
The race is suitable for the entire family. It is a 2 mile and 10K race/walk that includes races for children of all ages and a “Fun Walk” for adults who would like to participate at their own pace.
Race fees are $40 for adults, $25 for children. Discounted race fees for adults are offered to those pre-registering before September 17.
