Enjoy Music In The Meadow Saturday

COARSEGOLD – The Coarsegold Historical Society says to “bring a chair or blanket, and enjoy a lovely afternoon surrounded by history and great music,” as they host the 11th annual Music in the Meadow festival on Saturday, May 30 from noon to 4 p.m., at the Coarsegold Museum grounds.

The cost is $10 per person.

The festive, easy-going family-friendly event is a fundraiser for the Coarsegold Historical Society, dedicated to the ongoing restoration of the Museum’s 1870s adobe house.

Guests can look forward to the sounds of bluegrass band “Grassfire,” and the “Morgan Canyon Band,” who will perform mellow rock from the 60s and 70s.

Food and beverages will be available throughout the day, including including ribs, hamburgars, tri-tip, snacks and desserts, plus a selection of adult beverages as well as soft drinks. Be sure to stop by the silent auction and keep your eyes on the popular 50/50 drawing, with tickets available throughout the day. Docents will be on-hand during the event for museum tours.

The Coarsegold Historic Museum is located at 31899 Highway 41, just south of Lucky Lane.
