EMC SPCA Thrift Shop Relocates

OAKHURST — The EMC SPCA Thrift Shop has relocated to a roomy 2,000 square foot space at 40315 Junction Drive, Suite F. It’s near the Grocery Outlet, next to The Cat’s Meow.

The new, larger space leaves plenty of room for display of donated items, and customers are responding well, say organizers.

Currently the hours are Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The goal is to be open 7 days a week, say those in charge, but that will depend on acquiring additional volunteers.

Shop manager Sue Randall is asking volunteers to donate a minimum of four hours each week.

At this time, the thrift shop has sufficient items of clothing, so Sue is not taking additional clothes. She is now able to take small furniture items such as end tables and coffee tables. No large appliances.

Please call Sue at (559) 641-2500 to volunteer or to get more information on what donations she can accept. She cannot take large appliances or electronics.
