OAKHURST — The EMC SPCA has a question: are you feeling lucky? Hope so, because the time has come for their infamous Cards For Critters raffle to help equip the shelter.
Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20, and they’re available at The Cats Meow or at any EMCSPCA event.
The organization will even mail them to you, provided you send a check to: EMC SPCA, P.O.Box 1314, Oakhurst, CA 93644.
They will fill out the tickets and mail your stubs to you. Make sure to include a note so volunteers know your donation is for raffle tickets.
The drawing will be held on Friday, Dec. 8, giving the winner plenty of time to use their bounty as gifts for family and friends. Winners need not be present to win.
The EMC SPCA is requesting the public’s help in selling raffle tickets.
“If you work where you might be able to sell some tickets, or are willing to share with your friends, just let us know and we can set up a ticket packet for you,” says the organization’s Sharon Fitzgerald.
- 1st Place winner receives 25 gift cards each in the amount of $25: Sears, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Kohl’s, Target, Walmart, Macy’s, PF Chang, Cheesecake Factory, Mimi’s, Chili’s, Marie Callendar’s, Red Robin, In ‘N Out, JC Penney, California Pizza Kitchen, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Amazon, Bass Pro
- 2nd Place winner receives 10 gift cards each in the amount of $25: Home Depot, Kohl’s, Target, Walmart, PF Chang, Cheesecake Factory, Amazon, Panera Bread
- 3rd Place winner receives a $150 Vons Grocery gift card
- 4th Place winner receives a $100 Vons Grocery gift card
“All proceeds from the raffle goes to building and equipping the shelter,” Sharon adds.
