Elegant Auction This Saturday At Tenaya Lodge

OAKHURST – The 30th annual Oakhurst Park Elegant Auction is Saturday, May 2, at the fabulous Tenaya Lodge. In honor of the 30th Anniversary, they are celebrating with pearls, providing a wonderful opportunity for you to get dressed up in your elegant best.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. for the silent auction bidding. Sip on champagne and listen to the live music while you enter your bids and enjoy delicious gourmet buffet.

At 8 p.m., the professional auctioneer will announce the beginning of the exciting live auction.

Bid on a First Class Experience at Bass Lake, donated by Ken and Paula Trappen: One week summer rental in an elegant lake front home with private dock and huge gourmet kitchen. It is a newly remodeled, well equipped and fun home for families and large groups, comfortably sleeping 19, plus a private stationary dock with chaise lounges and the floating dock which accommodates three boats.

The Redwoods In Yosemite for donating a two night stay in their Gold Rated, 4-Bedroom Cedar Chalet, which sleeps TEN!

Additional items include … 3/4 Karat – 14Kw Diamond Earring Studs donated by Oakhurst Sierra Sunrise Rotary; a 6-piece Sommerset Seating Set including Loveseat, 2 chairs, 2 side tables and 1 coffee table, donated by Dr. Bob & Denise Brosi; the “Pampering & Pearls” package includes a Skin Logix facial with take home products, 60 minute massage, and an exquisite Cultured Pearl set with three strands of 4-8mm pearls and 7mm 14K pearl studs, donated by Macaulay Insurance Agency and Skin Logix – Tammy VanRossen.

Organizers are looking forward to more amazing auction items from their sponsors again this year.

Dancing will follow the live auction to complete a full evening of enjoyment. For individuals or couples wanting to stay the night at the Tenaya Lodge, the special rate for auction guests begins at $159 and includes breakfast for 2 (use code word: ELEGANT during checkout).

The Elegant Auction remains the only fundraiser each year that provides necessary funds for maintenance, new equipment and water at the Oakhurst Community Park.

Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the door.
