Eat, Drink And Benefit Childrens Hospital

BASS LAKE – Now is the time to make your reservations for a terrific evening event that’s probably going to sell out early.

It’s the 4th annual Restaurant Take-Over of Ducey’s on the Lake set for Sunday, Sept. 22. The night opens with a no-host bar and a lively $1 per ticket raffle beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The dinner to benefit La Sierra Guild begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Restaurant Take-Over of Ducey’s is organized by La Sierra Guild of Children’s Hospital Central California. The fundraiser benefits The Guilds Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Endowment at Children’s Hospital Central California.

Besides great company and delicious food, organizers of the fundraiser say guests are in for another valuable treat this year with the sale of tickets for not just one raffle, but two, counting the infamous “Mystery Box.”

According to Patty Spinelli, the “Mystery Box” is a decorated container which holds donations valued at over $350, and at various times over the years has included gift certificates for resort stays, dining, spa and more.

“The Mystery Box raffle tickets are $5 each and are only available that night,” says Spinelli, mysteriously.

For tickets to the Restaurant Take-Over of Ducey’s, email duceystickets@aol.com or telephone Carol at (559) 541-7832 or Linda at (559) 683-6993. Cost for tickets is $25 per person.
